Selection and Use of Hydraulic Breaker Drill Rod

One character steel drill: suitable for excavation and trenching operations in various soft and neutral layered rocks. 2. Cross head steel drill: suitable for crushing fine and neutral concrete and soft non layered rocks. 3. Flat head steel drill: suitable for crushing medium hardness stones or broken small stones, making them smaller in the next step.

1、 Guide for selecting drill rods:

2、 Replacement of steel brazing rod:

1. Firstly, remove the retaining pin and 330mm long steel drill pin. When reinstalling, place the steel drill in the correct position and insert the steel drill pin. 2. When reinstalling the steel drill, proceed in the opposite order of disassembly, and first check whether each component is worn or broken. If the steel drill is deformed, it should be polished and repaired, and the steel drill pin and moving parts should be coated with lubricating oil before installing the steel drill; If the steel drill pin is severely deformed, it will bring difficulties to replace the steel drill, so it should be checked every 100 to 150 hours of operation!

3、 Steel brazing direction:

The direction of the steel drill and the small arm should be consistent, and the rock surface of the steel drill and operation should be as vertical as possible. If the steel drill is not perpendicular to the rock surface, the steel drill may slip during operation. When crushing, first adjust the steel drill completely, and then select the impact point of the rock for the impact operation under stable conditions.

4、 Precautions during operation:

1. The use of appropriate downward force can improve the efficiency of the crushing hammer. 2. Adjusting the position of the crushing hammer - When the impact operation of the crushing hammer cannot break the rock, it should be moved to a new working position. 3. The crushing operation cannot be carried out continuously at the same position. Prolonged operation at the same position will increase the temperature of the steel drill, reduce its hardness, and cause the lower end of the steel drill to roll up, thereby reducing the efficiency of the operation. 4. Do not use the steel drill as a lever. 5. In the case of underwater devices, it is prohibited to work in water: no part of the hydraulic crushing hammer shall be submerged in the water until the underwater equipment is allocated; When using a crushing hammer in water, it is necessary to equip it with water equipment and an air compressor capable of producing 6000LPM/150PSL; Note: Working in water with equipment and air compressors without water may cause internal damage to the crushing hammer. 6. Before leaving the equipment, lower the forearm and confirm if the equipment is in a safe state; When the engine is started, it is prohibited to leave the equipment and all brakes and locking devices must be effectively used.

Replacing the steel drill rod: Regular use of the steel drill rod can cause the lower part to roll and deform. If the end of the steel drill rod is worn, it is easy for the steel drill rod to slip. In this case, the end of the steel drill rod needs to be polished sharp. After multiple polishing, the hardness of the steel drill rod will be reduced. If the distance between the steel drill and the guide sleeve is too large, the piston cannot accurately strike the steel drill, causing damage. If the spacing exceeds 9mm, the steel drill and guide sleeve [inner and outer bushings] should be replaced.
