Mechanical processing technology of drill rods
After the round steel is cut, it is first subjected to heat treatment and ductile annealing. Subsequently, CNC lathes and milling machines are preferred for metal processing, and companies with strict data control also use conventional cars for production. The heat treatment steps are followed, and salt bath furnaces are preferred. However, due to strict domestic control of salt bath furnaces, most enterprises mainly use well type carburizing furnaces, with imported quenching fluids being preferred. The final process is shot blasting, coating, and packaging.
The heat treatment process of drill rods is optimized by overall quenching and segmented tempering. The HRC hardness value of the impact part of the drill rod is 56-58, and the HRC of the piston impact part is 45-48, which is optimal.
Claim for drill rod: The drill rod is a vulnerable product, and the long-term operating medium is ore, roadbed, concrete, ships, slag, etc. Therefore, the tip of the drill rod will wear and tear during the working process. However, if daily maintenance does not pay attention to the renewal of the inner sleeve and the filling of butter, it will cause the drill tail to crack, so claim identification is easily a cumbersome process.
